Safair Operations, operating under the brand Flysafair, currently offers an employment opportunity for the position of In-Charge Flight Attendant at O.R Tambo International Airport. The selected candidate will directly report to the Manager: Cabin Services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent adherence to relevant safety protocols and procedures.
• Efficiently manage all tasks to enhance the overall passenger experience.
• Promote an enduring culture of high integrity.
• Maintain a high level of compliance with administrative requirements.
• Appoint and lead a motivated and dedicated team.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of Grade 12.
• Mandatory and valid: SACAA Cabin Crew License, Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate, Dangerous Goods Certificate, Ditching Certificate, Fire Fighting Certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent flying experience (equivalent to 1000 hours).
• Possession of a valid South African driver’s license and personal vehicle (non-negotiable).
• Proficiency in English at Level 4.
• Medical fitness and swimming capability.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, and public holidays, including early morning check-ins or late evening sign-offs.
• Willingness to receive the Covid vaccination due to job requirements.
