Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in wrapping tissue rolls according to customer requirements, as well as experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wrapping materials and wrap reels to meet standard specifications.
• Apply labels to reels and verify accurate tonnage processing.
• Use plugs, bungs, and side discs as necessary.
• Notify the Tally Clerk of any shortages in wrapping materials or accessories.
• Fulfill the duties of the Tally Clerk in their absence.
• Provide assistance on the Winder when needed.
• Support the start-up and shutdown of the Tissue Machine.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Matric/Grade 12) or equivalent.
• N1 Pulp and Paper certification or NCV Level 2.
• Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Preference for candidates with experience in paper production.
• One month of experience in reel wrapping is preferred.
