We are hiring for the position of Bulk Liquid Transporter in our Supply Chain and Bulk Distribution department at our Vanderbijlpark and Newcastle facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety procedures and be able to operate articulated tankers.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Conducting pre- and post-journey inspections of the vehicle
• Managing the loading and unloading of tankers
• Operating Bulk Cryogenic gas tankers, delivering to various customer sites
• Executing tasks in alignment with the Company’s established processes and protocols
• Managing trip-related administrative tasks and documentation
• Ensuring unwavering adherence to safety standards
• Maintaining the general cleanliness and orderliness of the truck
• Engaging in miscellaneous general tasks as needed

The essential requirements for this role are:

• Grade 12/ Matric qualification
• Unendorsed EC driver’s license with a valid Dangerous Goods Certificate
• Valid PrDP and access to reliable personal transportation
• 5 years of continuous experience in operating articulated tankers
• 5 years of experience with Cryogenic gas (an asset)
• Ability to pass AP’s annual medical prerequisites
• Willingness to work according to a roster system, which might involve weekends, public holidays, and overtime when necessary
• Ability to generate written reports regarding vehicle fitness
• Clean criminal record
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication, particularly in English
