SUMMARY:

operating AHF vehicles and making sure they’re always maintained well and have received all essential repairs are your primary responsibilities.
Essential responsibilities and duties include:

delivering AHF visitors to the specified locations and giving a welcoming speech while on the route;
transports employees of AHF South Africa to necessary locations, including but not restricted to airports, healthcare centers, meetings, and outreach activities.
Always practice responsible and safe driving. Must be aware of and abide by all driving, traffic, and parking laws and regulations in South Africa. Never operate a motor vehicle when intoxicated. follows the no-smoking regulations and refrains from using a phone while driving at all times;
maintains the cleanliness of the car, including weekly car washing and daily inside cleaning;
keeps the vehicle in working order, finishes, and submits

weekly logs to back up this;
reports any damages and works with the regional operations manager right once to make any repairs or replacements;
Keeps track of all mileage and fuel costs in the vehicle logbook. reduces fuel costs and forbids unauthorized drivers from operating the vehicle;
maintains safety standards at all times when moving AHF visitors, employees, or cargo.
Make sure the car under his/her care is always protected from theft or damage;
Verify that the vehicles have the most recent versions of their license plates.

SUPERVISORY OBLIGATIONS

None.
Other abilities and skills:

Fluency in English, the capacity to operate under pressure, and the ability to handle “difficult clients” are all requirements.
EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION:

grade of success 12

PDP No. 12; Current South African Driver’s License
3-5 years of minimum driving experience
LANGUAGE ABILITIES

Ability to effectively communicate information to clients, customers, and other workers of the company in one-on-one and small group settings. Ability to read and comprehend brief communications, simple instructions, and memos.
